Agricultural Building Design
We provide full detailed design of any farm building with a full set of construction drawings and specification. The design includes all steelwork, cladding, concrete works and layout designed to meet your needs and to suite your farm. We also provide full sets of fabrication drawings for all the steelwork. All designs take account of Health & Safety with special emphasis on build ability and designing out risk where possible.
Cattle Underpass & Civil Works Design
We provide full design layouts to suite your requirements and your farm layout. We prepare a full set of construction drawings including specifications. Some of the main aspects in cattle underpasses or other civil works include the size, length, orientation and depth. All these affect the cost of construction, maneuvourability, drainage, types of usage, existing services, environment, road safety and local authorities. We provide full engineering input including design, layout and we liaise with local authorities and government bodies where required. All designs take account of Health & Safety with special emphasis on build ability and designing out risk where possible.
Construction Budgets
We can compile a complete construction budget for any project, including full breakdown of quantities and estimated costs. This budget can also be broken down into different elements of the works so that it can tie into the design and we can advise of how changes to size, orientation, length, layout and depth affect the overall costs.
Works Programme and Management.
We can develop a works programme detailing key factors that may affect the progress of the works. These programmes are normally required to obtain road opening licences and obtain planning permission to show the overall affect the works will have on the public road users. It can also identify the measures taken to reduce the delay and disruption to the public.
Contract Administration
Once the construction drawings have been completed and planning permission obtained, we can prepare tender packages to be tendered by contractors, subcontractors etc. These packages can be prepared as fixed lump sum or admeasurement bill of quantity packages. We can also assist in the appointment of the main contractor or subcontractor as required and the drafting of suitable forms of contract.
Works Supervision & Financial Institute Stage Payment Certification.
We provide the service of works supervision and issuing interim payment certificates as the works proceeds. The certificates can be issued on the basis of pre-agreed increments or on an admeasurement basis, so whether there is a main contractor appointed or not and the works is completed by direct labour, draw downs/certificates can be processed. The method used can be agreed with the contractor and client before works commences. We also provide any documentation, letters, cost estimates required by Financial Institutes including Certificates of Compliance at the completion of the works.
Construction Drawing Production.
We can produce constructions drawings on AutoCad format including specifications as and when required. We can also up grade existing planning drawings to construction category including the production of extra drawings where required.
Project Supervisor Design Process
The appointment of a Project Supervisor Design Process and Project Supervisor Construction Stage is a legal requirement on any construction project in Ireland today. Green Technologies & Energy Advice
We provide independent advice, details and recommendations in relation to all green technologies from Wind Turbines to Heat Pumps to Solar Panels to Electricity generation etc. We also provide assistance in the procurement and project management of their supply and installation. We provide details and cost estimates for the ancillary works that are needed for the use of any of these renewables in new or existing farm developments. We can also provide estimates on costings, predicted payback periods, estimate annual running costs and savings. The use of green technologies needs to be addressed at the very early stages in any new development to ensure all works are in accordance with the necessary requirements for their use. The erection of Wind turbines is being encouraged on farms at present in the form of planning exemptions for wind turbine erection. For every 3 kW's of electricity produced , the consumer only receives 1 kW, this as a result of loses in the Electricity Supply Network, hence wind turbines are good for the environment and for good for the pocket especially where electricity usage is high.

- Contractor Selection of preferred contractors and suppliers, or through a tendering process.
- Selection of Materials and Finishes
- Construction Management of the building project from site meetings and client reviews to contractor management, while overseeing the on-time completion of your project.
- Ensure that all commissioning and testing is completed to the highest professional standard and that the project safety files and as-built documentation are supplied in compliance with the client's own requirements.
