About Us
A native of Tipperary, Willie Trehy is the principal of William Trehy & Associates. Willie is a graduate of University College Cork having obtained an honours degree in Civil Engineering in 1996.
Willie grew up with and worked for the family construction business from an early age gaining a sound grounding in the construction sector. Upon graduation Willie continued his involvement in the running of the family construction business before moving on to some major civil engineering projects with civil engineering contractors. These projects ranged from bridge works to marine works to motorway works and ranging in positions held from site engineer to construction management to project management. During one of these projects, Willie was selected to give evidence on a major arbitration, which resulted in a record compensation award for his Client. Willie has down through the years provided all of the services listed on the services page to companies, contractors, subcontractors, private individuals, architects etc.
Willie is a member of Institute of Engineers of Ireland and is a registered assessor with Sustainable Energy Ireland.
Engineers Ireland provides a standard for the engineering profession and a community for engineers. It also promotes continuing professional development, ethics and conduct.
Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI), formerly the Irish Energy Centre was set up by the Goverment in 2002 as Ireland's National Agency. SEI's mission is to promote and assist the development of sustainable energy.
Willie now works from his base at Coleman, Fethard, Co. Tipperary.
